You can view all PDFs and video guides for each access method on our Access Guides page. Each access method is also summarized below.
If your institution has access via institutional E-mail Domain
- Register on the Nature Masterclasses platform using your institutional email address, or log in with an existing SN Account that uses this email.
- Your access is linked to your email domain, so please ensure you use the correct address when registering.
- Once you have confirmed your registration, you will automatically receive access to the courses included in your institution’s subscription.
If your institution has access via institutional IP range
- Connect to your institution’s on‑campus network (wired, Wi‑Fi or VPN).
- Register or log in on the Nature Masterclasses website.
- Once registered and confirmed, your SN Account will be associated with your institution for 30 days, allowing you to access courses from any internet connection.
- If you have been off campus for longer than 30 days since your last login, simply return to the Nature Masterclasses website while connected to your institution’s network to refresh your access.
If your institution has access via institutional Single Sign-On
- Search for your institution on the Nature Masterclasses website, or the Nature Masterclasses China site, if applicable.
- You will be redirected to your institution’s login portal. Sign in using your usual institutional credentials.
- You will return to Nature Masterclasses and be asked to log in or register with your SN Account. Once registered or logged in, you will have access to your institution's subscription.
- Your SN Account will remain associated with your institution for 30 days.
- If this association expires, repeat the steps above to relink your account via your institution’s SSO.
If your lab/department has access via voucher codes
- Register or log in to the Nature Masterclasses platform.
- If you are not already part of a subscription, you will see a voucher/code redemption box on the homepage.
- Enter your voucher code to unlock your access.
If you have followed the steps above and are still unable to access your desired course, please submit a query to our Online Service team via our webform here.
