Much of the content published on the Nature website can be downloaded to your device and viewed offline.
If an article is available to download as a PDF, a “Download PDF” option will usually be displayed on the article page. Select “Download PDF” to open or download the article to your device.
Supplementary material
Some articles include supplementary material that can also be downloaded. This may be available in a variety of file formats, including:
- Documents: PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Citations: RIS (Research Information Systems)
- Images: JPEG and GIF
- Video: MOV and MP4
- Audio: MP3
You will need an application that supports the relevant file type to view downloaded content. For example, PDF files can be opened using a compatible PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, or with many modern web browsers.
Where can I find my downloaded files?
The location of downloaded files depends on your browser, device and browser settings. For further information about downloading and managing files, refer to the support pages for your browser:
