Missing / damaged print subscription issues

Missing Issues

If you have a current subscription and have not received an issue, please first check that it has been published by reviewing the home page of the journal on our website and ensure you have allowed time for delivery – 14 days for all destinations apart from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Brazil, for which you should allow 21 days.

Delays may also occur due to local postal disputes or other issues which are outside of our control.

Missing or Damaged Issues

Claims can be submitted for missing or damaged issues by contacting our Customer Service team at customerservice@springernature.com with the information listed below.

  • Customer ID
  • Journal Title
  • Volume and Issue number and Publication Date/Month
  • Delivery address (including previous address if there has been a recent change).

In line with our Claims Policy, claims should be submitted within two months of publication or date or order (whichever is later) for weekly titles and within three months of publication or date of order (whichever is later) for monthly titles.


A replacement copy (or copies) will be sent providing the claim is received within the above timescales and there is available stock.
