COUNTER (Counting Online Usage of Networked Electronic Resources) is an international initiative designed to serve librarians, publishers and intermediaries by facilitating the recording and exchange of online usage statistics to an agreed set of international standards and protocols. In compliance with COUNTER standards Springer Nature makes all reports available by the end of every month for usage in the preceding month.
